A contemporary beach shack was the initial brief that morphed into a 750m2 suspended concrete dwelling set over 3 levels, located in a traditional character suburb.

 

The design was to include some client specified details: a 6 car garage, wine cellar, guest house, and use of repurposed materials from the demolished, original house. 

 

We also had the opportunity to add some unique design elements including a 3 meter cantilevered kitchen island bench, switchable privacy glass, an award winning bed head by Scribed Flooring and a cantilevered concrete staircase rising all 3 levels.
